Hey there! I’m Kate.

I’m an Associate Creative Director and designer based in Atlanta, currently leading creative work at The Brand Studio at Spectrum (formerly Cox Communications). Over the past 7+ years in this role, I've led a team of designers and shaped the look and feel of our Retail stores and Mobile campaign creative. I'm driven by pushing past the obvious solution to find the idea that actually surprises people, and I build that through a design process that's iterative and collaborative from the first sketch to the final deliverable.

My path here wasn't a straight line: a psychology degree from the University of Virginia, followed by design training at Atlanta's Portfolio Center. That combination shapes how I work; as much about understanding why an audience responds to something as how it looks.

Outside of client work, photography is where I still get to play. Whether I'm traveling or shooting portraits for friends and family, chasing the perfect moment is a habit I can’t shake.

I’m originally from Rockville, Maryland, but Atlanta’s been home since 2011.
